Step 1:
Decide exactly what you are looking for and contact me with as much information as possible so that I can start e-mailing or mailing you homes or land that fit your exact criteria. It is important that you do not start to early as the homes you will see will likely not be available 3 to 12 months from now.
Step 2:
Before you start viewing Homes or Land in person and if you need financing, Get a Pre-Approval Letter so you know just how much home you can afford. Many sellers will not even consider an offer without a pre-approval letter. If you need to sell your home as a condition of an offer, contact a local Coldwell Banker office to list your home. I can refer you to the proper agent in your area through our exclusive network. The following banks or mortgage companies below have worked well for our clients in the past. Feel free to use one of your own. Don't forget to tell them you will be working with Don Fourtner of Coldwell Banker Town & Country.


Step 3:
Contact me and make an appointment to view homes. I will set up appointments with the sellers and I will be prepared to discuss every aspect of the homes or land we view. It is important that all decision makers view the homes at the same time. Be prepared to make an offer if you find a home you like. Many a buyer has "lost" a home they loved due to hesitation. Chances are; if you feel warm and fuzzy about a home, other buyers will too. Lock it up.
Step 4:
Write an Offer.
